A denim rendition of the standard U.S. Army field cap, cut from the same heavyweight indigo cloth used on period work jackets and trousers. The short, structured brim and rounded crown reflect the everyday utility headwear worn by enlisted men through the 1930s and 1940s.

Constructed on vintage union special machines using unsanforized denim, the cap softens, shrinks and fades with wear, developing a personal patina that mirrors the way the original GI issue weathered in the field.
