It is currently managed by fourth-generation craftsmen who use the same antique knitting machines and that were originally employed to produce uniforms for the Imperial Palace.
The antique loopwheel machines knit their signature jersey at a deliberately slow pace, producing merely 1 meter per hour. The tubular knitting technique ensures that Sunray’s apparel is free from side seams, offering a seamless and comfortable fit. Additionally, the deliberate pace causes less tension in the seams of the fabric, preventing any distortion or twisting.
