The story of Shangies
Maria, the Danish founder of Shangies was inspired to create these beautiful and unique sandals while living in Shanghai. She managed to create something really special by bringing together two very different cultures. The natural jute fabric and intricate weaving patterns are inspired by traditional Chinese craftsmanship, while the design has a distinctly Nordic feel. Since launching her first line of Shangies by Stilov sandals in 2016, her creative hobby quickly blossomed into a thriving enterprise, boasting a global presence with over 250 retailers today.
