HANSEN MADE IN JAPAN
Working with a respected jeans factory in Okayama, Japan's traditional denim region, we chose a loom-woven 13oz 'neppy' denim - a fabric with visible neps, or flecks, across its surface, giving it a textured, slightly worn character. Alongside the factory's expertise, the design process drew on the codes of vintage denim workwear - the seams, the trims, the stitching - adapted to sit within the HANSEN aesthetic.
