INDI + ASH

Founded in Brooklyn by Matt Aprile, formerly a chief designer at Ralph Lauren, INDI + ASH is built around a quieter kind of luxury. Each garment begins with hand-spun yarn, woven on hand-looms and dyed using centuries-old techniques, indigo plants, madder root, flowers, and recycled metals among them. No two pieces come out quite the same.

The brand works directly with artisan communities in India, built on fair wages, trust, and long-term partnership rather than one-off production runs. It is a slow, deliberate process, and it shows: natural fibers, tailored silhouettes, and a palette drawn from the earth rather than a color chart.
