A-2 HORSEHIDE JACKET | Black

A black take on Buzz Rickson's A-2, built on the same pattern as the Rough Wear Clothing Co. contract reproduction (No. 23380) - large stood collar and all.

The horsehide is vegetable-tanned with a brown core beneath its black surface finish, so as the jacket wears in and the surface scuffs and scratches, that brown undertone starts to show through. It's a slow, built-in ageing process - the kind of patina that can't be faked, and one that makes each jacket increasingly its own.
