Something we have been working on for a long time is almost ready.
Our take on the perfect chore jacket - along with two trouser styles to match. Made entirely in Japan from a heavily textured dobby weave cotton, dyed with real indigo.

Japanese Dobby Weave Cotton
The weave gives the fabric a heavily textured, almost tactile surface - something you notice immediately.
But what makes it special is what happens over time.
The real indigo dye fades naturally with every wash, slowly and unevenly, until the fabric becomes something entirely your own.
The Chore Jacket
Our take on the chore jacket. A silhouette we have been thinking about for a long time - and this is our answer to it. Made entirely in Japan, it carries all the details you would expect from a workwear piece done properly, rendered in a fabric that will only get better with wear.
The jacket is accompanied by our two classic denim trouser styles, ROBBY & DEAN.
ROBBY
ROBBY has all the details associated with a traditional five pocket western but with a very loose, wide leg fit that gives it a very HANSEN vibe. The outside seam twists towards the back giving a natural, organic shape to the leg.
DEAN
DEAN is HANSEN's version of a traditional five pocket western jean - it has a straight leg fit and is made entirely in Japan.A perfect fit for all body shapes.
New HANSEN Bandanas
Our Japanese bandanas are back, now in 4 new designs and 3 colors. They are made of 100% cotton and is screen printed in Japan.
The indigo bandanas are dyed with traditional indigo dye from the Okayama district.All are pre-washed to give them a natural vintage look and feel.
