NORTH WORKS

NORTH WORKS is a small Tokyo workshop built around a simple idea: basic design and honest materials age well, and nothing else. Working out of Fussa, the studio takes genuine vintage American coins, Morgan Dollars, Walking Liberty and Standing Liberty pieces, Mercury Dimes, Buffalo Nickels and Indian Head Cents, and turns them into rings, pendants, cuffs and bracelets, alongside hand strung bead necklaces and bracelets in indigo dyed shell, vintage Venetian glass and old trade beads.

Every piece is finished by hand, one at a time, so no two are quite identical. That is the point. The coins carry almost a century of American history in their design, and the studio lets that history show rather than polishing it away.

All pieces are handmade in Japan.
