HANSEN’S LOVE FOR WORKWEAR

At HANSEN, workwear has always been our biggest source of inspiration, where traditions and functionality go hand in hand.

In a world of technology, we sometimes seek something deeper and authentic. Workwear today has become a style, a statement and way of life. Workwear is about details, quality and craftsmanship. It is about clothes that are built to last.

Our approach to workwear is wholehearted and sincere, and our interpretation of workwear is a modern one. Therefore our fabrics, details and colours can be unorthodox as we also loosely crossover to clothing we call everyday wear. The clothes themselves retain their classic style, always practical and with great respect and love for its roots and original functions of traditional workwear.

Short work jacket LAUST and trousers LENNART in tough, heavy and undyed Bull Denim. Bull Denim fabric is often referred to as "tough as nails" due to the durable 3x1 twill construction. Although the fabric is extremely durable, it is also amazingly soft.
Available in undyed ecru and overdyed blue.

As we enjoy style crossing we have paired this workwear outfit with our ongoing beloved super soft cotton HENNING shirt and JAMES Tee.

The jersey fabric is knitted with slub-yarns, meaning the yarns are uneven and give the surface a nice depth and a vivid uneven structure. Available in various colours.

  • We complemented our HANSEN looks with white Moonstar sneakers. Made in the Kurume factory in western Japan since 1873, Moonstar uses a wealth of traditional techniques to create eye-catching minimal and functional footwear by highly skilled craftspeople.

The Moonstar Gym Classic is a re-working of a 1960s Tennis shoe and crafted from a 'Good Weaver' canvas cloth, made using the "Kurume Kasuri" technique that needs around three months to be woven.

This timeless silhouette is finished with a vulcanised rubber sole for added durability.
