casual wear

Another newcomer in our 2022 Autumn/Winter collection is RUBEN, a design that makes quite the entrance with its multi coloured chequered material. This fabric is one of the show-stoppers this season

The brushed surface adds a feeling of comfort, and with the regular collar and open placket, RUBEN gives off an effortlessly cool vibe. The fit is relaxed and has two lower side seam pockets and two patch-on upper flap pockets and comes with real horn buttons.

In the same matching fabric TYGE is a pair of loosely fitted, slightly tapered and cropped trousers. It comes with two slanted front pockets, two welted pockets and a zipper fly. The side seams are slightly twisted, giving an organic shape from the knee down. TYGE, combined with RUBEN is a bold outfit that surely will make heads turn.

for the cold

LARSEN is a relaxed fitted rib stitch cardigan with a shawl collar. The Worsted wool makes it really warm and super light to wear.

There are different types of wool. Worsted wool is the finest and best at keeping you warm. The fury fibres help to trap air and therefore insulate you better, making LARSEN and LARS your best bet against the cold. Furthermore, worsted wool is very resilient, meaning it will last you through many winters to come.

Another new design is EIVIND, made from a wool, alpaca and silk blend yarn. This relaxed fitted crew neck sweater comes with a plain stitch and slanted backwards shoulder seams. The high-end Italian yarn is unique for its composition and quality. It is semi heavy, and great for cold conditions. The yarns are spun with multicoloured slub fibres, resulting in a beautiful spotted and very vivid Donegal like image.

A third newcomer in our knit collection is ARNOLD, a knitted sweater inspired by the 50’s. Its sleek design and distinctive pattern and colours make it a must-have piece in your wardrobe. The yarn comes from Austria, and it’s made of pure Virgin Wool.

keep it simple

We would not be HANSEN Garments if we didn’t include a smart, casual suit set among our new arrivals. Though the cut itself is a returning favourite - namely JASPER, the everyday jacket blazer and KEN, the matching wide cut trousers. The yarns of this fully cotton fabric contain 30% recycled cotton fibres. It comes with a brushed finish on both sides making it really soft and comfortable to wear. The warp and weft are switching between black and green coloured yarns creating a nice uneven monochrome small grid pattern. All in all, this set is not only nice to look at, it also feels great to touch and wear.

When it comes to the design of the set, we like to describe it as tailoring and workwear-inspired. JASPER is in between a blazer and a jacket: hide the top button and you have a blazer; or button it and you have a well-fitting jacket. It has two, large patched on pockets and one smaller flap pocket and of course, an inner pocket. Ken, our wide cut trousers with a fitted top block and a relaxed silhouette, is the perfect choice for a modest Scandinavian-inspired look. With two welted back pockets, slanted front pockets and top-stitching throughout, Ken can be worn separately or combined with JASPER.

Though made of a different material, the set is also available in Broken Blue.

All garments in our 2022 Autumn/Winter collection are produced in Europe and all fabrics and trimming are handpicked. We carefully seek out craftsmanship rooted in aesthetic values filled with earnestness. Historic traditions are paired with contemporary techniques, infused with soulfulness and a drop of rational nostalgia.
